As a parent, and because I believe in ALL of the students in our community, I wanted to recommend this professional development training opportunity, designed specifically for educators, in supporting LGBTQIA+ students and families, at all age levels.
LGBTQIA+ Inclusivity Professional Development Training for K-12 Educators
In this 3-hour training designed specifically for your school, you’ll build shared vocabulary and resources as a community and practice real scenarios in supporting LGBTQIA+ students and families. We’ll also practice effectively intervening in anti-LGBTQIA bullying. Training designed for educators and all school staff/coaches.

Nik Shier (they/them) has been providing LGBTQIA+ SAFE Trainings in our communities for more than 15 years. Trainings are updated annually and lean into the expertise of The Trevor Project, the Human Rights Campaign, The Safe Zone Project and other local and national experts, including LGBTQIA+ youth.
